| At 8:30 or 9:00 AM, meet your tour guide at your hotel for the start of your Pyramids of Egypt Tour. Begin your journey with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. These three iconic pyramids, the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), Pyramid of Khafra (Chephren), and the Pyramid of Menkaure, date back to 2450 BC. The Great Pyramid of Khufu is Egypt’s largest pyramid, and the Pyramid of Khafra is slightly smaller as a mark of respect from King Khafra to his father. The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest at 65.5 meters tall.
After exploring the pyramids, it’s time for the highlight of the day: enjoy a 30-minute camel ride in the Pyramids desert. Experience the ancient landscape and capture stunning photos of the pyramids in the background. Next, you will head to the Pyramids Panorama Viewpoint, where you can capture breathtaking photos of all nine pyramids from the viewpoint hill. Your tour will conclude with a visit to the Great Sphinx of Giza, a monumental limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh. The Sphinx is one of Egypt’s most famous symbols. After a full day of exploration, your guide will transfer you back to your hotel. |
