Tour Highlights for Diving in Alexandria

Departure from Cairo: Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Cairo for a comfortable 3-hour drive to Alexandria in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.

Arrive in Alexandria: Upon arrival, you’ll meet your diving guide who will brief you on the day’s activities and ensure you have the right equipment.

First Dive – Explore the Sunken City: Begin your underwater adventure with a dive to explore the famous ancient ruins beneath the sea. You’ll get the chance to see the remains of Cleopatra’s Palace, ancient columns, and even the wreckage of old ships, all submerged beneath the calm waters of the Mediterranean.

Second Dive – Discover Marine Life: Dive into the vibrant world of Alexandria’s marine life. Swim among schools of colorful fish, explore coral formations, and perhaps even spot some rare underwater species unique to the area.

Later drive to visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, and then drive to Pompeii’s Pillar and Sarbium Temple.

Then drive to Pompey’s Pillar (column). The Pillar is an ancient Roman column and one of the most famous monuments.

And drive west Alexandria to visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was established in 1477.

This castle is surrounded by the sea on three sides. This castle contains the main wall and fences in the north-west. Walls are divided into two, internal and external. which include defensive openings for the soldiers.

Later drive to Alexandria Library The Great Library of Alexandria’s oldest Library in the world, which contains more than two million books was the most important center of learning in ancient times.

Return to Cairo: After an unforgettable day of diving, you’ll be transported back to Cairo, with arrival in the evening.
