1. Day – Arrival in Cairo |
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a Noga Tours Egypt representative who will assist with airport formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Cairo in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. After check-in, you can relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, you have the option to enjoy a Nile Dinner Cruise with traditional Egyptian entertainment or explore local markets at your leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo. |
2. Day – Giza Pyramids, Saqqara, and Memphis Tour |
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your Cairo Luxor Alexandria Tour with one of the most iconic sites in the world, the Great Pyramids of Giza. You’ll explore the three famous pyramids built by the pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty – the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the smaller Pyramid of Menkaure. After taking in the grandeur of these ancient wonders, visit the Great Sphinx, the mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh. Continue your exploration of Egypt’s ancient past by traveling to Saqqara, the vast necropolis that houses the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest pyramid. Admire the surrounding tombs and ancient art, learning about the evolution of pyramid construction. Next, head to Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital, where you’ll see the giant Colossus of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. 3. Day – Flight to Luxor – East Bank Tour |
After an early breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor, often referred to as the world’s greatest open-air museum. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, which boasts stunning views of the Nile River. After check-in, enjoy some leisure time before starting your East Bank tour. Begin at the monumental Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built. This sprawling complex contains temples, chapels, and massive columns, with the impressive Hypostyle Hall being the most famous section. The Karnak Temple is dedicated to Amun-Ra, the ancient Egyptian god of the sun and creation. After exploring Karnak, head to Luxor Temple, built primarily by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II. As the sun sets, this beautifully lit temple takes on an ethereal glow, offering a magical end to your day of exploration. Spend the evening relaxing along the Nile or at your hotel. 4. Day – West Bank Tour in Luxor – Return Flight to Cairo |
After breakfast and check-out, head to Luxor’s West Bank, the final resting place of many of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs. Begin with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where you can enter several royal tombs, including the famed tomb of King Tutankhamun (optional). Marvel at the vivid wall paintings and the history etched into these tombs. Next, visit the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning colonnaded temple built for one of Egypt’s most powerful female rulers. End your West Bank tour at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,000 years. Afterward, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. 5. Day – Alexandria Day Tour |
After breakfast, drive to Alexandria for a day of exploration as part of your Cairo Luxor Alexandria Tour. Start with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a Roman burial site combining ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman art. Next, visit Pompey’s Pillar, a towering Roman column. Continue to the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. 6. Day – Cairo Day Tour – Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Coptic Cairo, and Khan El Khalili |
After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to an unparalleled collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun. Wander through rooms filled with statues, jewelry, and mummies, marveling at the history on display. Next, head to the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval Islamic fortification that offers panoramic views of Cairo. Explore the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known as the Alabaster Mosque for its stunning interior and exterior design. Afterward, visit Coptic Cairo, one of the oldest parts of the city. Here, you will explore the Hanging Church, Saint Sergius Church (where the Holy Family is believed to have sought refuge), and the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue. In the afternoon, stroll through the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the largest and most famous markets in the Middle East. 7. Day – Departure Day |
